Fred Jefferson III

Frederick C. Jefferson III currently holds the position of Acting Director of the Leadership Management School at The Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, VA and serves as Course Chair and Lead Trainer for the US Department of State’s executive level leadership development programs, including the Ambassadorial Seminar, the Senior Executive Threshold Seminar (SETS) and the National Security Executive Leadership Seminar (NSELS). Frederick is a certified Leadership Coach and graduate of LCCP Cohort III. He is an executive coach with more than 20 years of international experience in organization change management, leadership development, and strategic communications. Frederick has worked as a senior consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, The MITRE Corporation and Lee Hecht Harrison where he has had the opportunity to develop and deliver leadership and organizational development programs that focus on strategic planning, strategic communications, and change management. Frederick’s thought-provoking coaching and consulting presence encourages leaders to take stock of their strengths, get clear on their goals, and gain perspective on how to effectively accelerate change and drive organization effectiveness. In addition to his Leadership Coaching certification Frederick is also certified by the International Coaching Federation. Frederick holds a master’s degree in Organization Development from American University/NTL, an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology from Cambridge College, and is currently pursuing an Ed. D in Human and Organization Learning at George Washington University.
